consignor information

Why should I be a consignor with Just Between Friends?

  • You set the price on your items.
  • Keep 65% of the selling price, or earn 70% if you volunteer at least 4 hours, which is more money than at a resale store or garage sale.
  • Shop before the general public, Thursday, April 8th at 7pm.
  • Advertising, location and business hassles are taken care of by JBF Staff.
  • You do not have to stay and sell your items. Drop off your items before the event.
  • There is a $10.00 consignor fee & it will be deducted from your final check.
  • Your unsold items will be sorted and ready for pick up a few hours after the sale, or we encourage you to donate them to The Eveline Rivers Christmas Project.
  • If you volunteer to help during the sale, earn 70% on your items, YOU CAN SHOP FIRST for our sale and 1/2 price sale! (see our shop early page for details)
  • You will receive your check within 2 weeks after the sale.
  • You will make some great friends!

Things a Consignor needs to know:

  • You must tag your own merchandise. Gather all of your supplies together in a little tub before you start.
  • Items must be clean and ready to sell. See our Merchandise Prep page for details.
  • Your items will be screened at drop-off, so please allow at least 1 hour for this process.
  • Consignors must put their items on the sales floor. Lots of people recruit husbands to help with this! (It helps to have the clothing presorted by size and gender)
  • Remember to get your Presale Passes at drop-off.
  • Bring a self-addressed stamped envelope for us to mail you your check. IT MUST BE LEGAL SIZED. Put your consignor # on the bottom left corner. We can deduct $1.00 from your final check if you forget to bring it with you.
  • A consignor fee of $10.00 will be deducted from your check.
  • Bring a laundry basket, stroller, or wagon to the Presale to put your items in while you shop!

If you have problems signing up online please email us so that we can help or call Camille at 806-336-5819.
